NFP Engine
NFP Engine is a digital agency providing website and marketing solutions for UK charities and non-profits. The project involved creating a new brand identity that felt professional, trustworthy, and approachable, while appealing to charity stakeholders with varying levels of digital experience. The work also needed to align visually with a partner brand, Gladding Digital, while remaining distinct.

Challenge
The identity needed to balance professionalism with a friendly, dependable tone suitable for the non-profit sector. Both NFP Engine and Gladding Digital required distinct but cohesive visual systems that could work independently while sharing core design principles. The solution also needed to be simple, scalable, and easy to apply across a wide range of materials.
Role
As Brand Designer, I led the identity development from research through to final delivery. I explored visual directions, developed logo concepts, and defined colour palettes, typography, and core brand elements. I worked closely with the client to create two complementary identities that could scale as the businesses grew.
Approach
The design focused on clean, minimalist forms and approachable typography to balance professionalism with accessibility. I created distinct but related colour palettes and visual systems for both brands, ensuring they could stand alone while feeling part of a wider ecosystem. The identities were designed to be flexible and easy to use across digital and print applications.
Outcome
Both brands launched with cohesive, scalable identity systems including logos, colour guides, typography, and core brand assets. The project provided a strong foundation for marketing, website, and client-facing materials, supporting the transition from a personal consultancy model to a more established agency presence.
